During the Bosnian War, the Olympic Bobsled track was damaged and abandoned. Today, it's a graffiti tagger's paradise, a place to ride a bike with a GoPro on your head, and a tourist favorite.
My wonderful guide, Jadranka Suster. She lived through the war, teaching her elementary students in a basement war school and bartering for essentials with cigarettes. Jadranka's wealth of knowledge and personal experience make her a great guide; I highly recommend her. sarajevo-tour.com
"Red Army '81". When I first saw this "Bosnian Che", I thought for sure it was the work of some type of communist movement. Turns out, that's the name of the fan club for the football team. :-)
